Video Magnifier and Teletypewriter

In response to client needs and concerns, the Ontario Labour Relations Board is reducing barriers to information.

Video Magnifier

The Board now has a video magnifier available for use during hearings.

The video magnifier has a 17" monitor that tilts for comfortable viewing. The oversized reading table is large enough to accommodate a large book or magazine, and includes comfortable wrist rests. The thumbs and forefingers activate the controls, so the user does not have to take his/ her hands off the table when reading. The table is also equipped with a brake that can lock the table in place to make writing easier. The controls include instant focus, one-touch zoom, position locator, image brightness and photo, reading and reverse reading modes.

Teletypewriter (TTY)

TTY allows persons with hearing and/or speech loss to make or receive telephone calls. The phone is a teletypewriter (TTY) which can be used to contact the Ontario Labour Relations Board. The TTY number is: 416-212-7036.
